Watch Your Step!

This project was designed to implement a code system to go on all products and packaging, so that the public can make ethical choices when it comes to purchasing a product or service. The aim of this is to encourage consumers to buy ethically sourced products with high recycling qualities, and a low carbon footprint. If consumers are made more aware of these qualities when they purchase products, they could be less likely to buy a products for instance; with single use packaging or that was produced abroad.

Cynlluniwyd y prosiect hwn i roi cod ar bob cynnyrch a deunydd pecynnu, fel y gall y cyhoedd wneud dewisiadau moesegol pan ddaw i brynu cynnyrch neu wasanaeth. Nod hyn yw annog cwsmeriaid i brynu cynhyrchion a gyrchwyd yn foesegol gyda nodweddion ailgylchu uchel, ac ôl-troed carbon isel. Os bydd defnyddwyr yn fwy ymwybodol o’r nodweddion hyn pan fyddant yn prynu cynhyrchion, efallai y byddant yn llai tebygol o brynu cynhyrchion er enghraifft, gyda deunydd pecynnu untro neu a oedd wedi’i gynhyrchu dramor.
