The project “British Botanicals” is based around imagery taken along the taff trail running between Cardiff and Brecon. This project consists of four sub-collection, each being based around a single plant, with those being Snowdrop, Crocus, Daffodil and Rose. This collection aims for a spring/summer 2022 release using muted soft tones to create a successful modern collection. These colours are loosely based around the theme, British botanicals, however, have been edited to create a more commercial palette.

The project aims to be sold in Urban Outfitters, using a similar customer profile to theirs, with this being young female adults who follow current trends and have a moderate disposable income.

The collections shown in this project are aimed at fashion, stationery and homeware products with these products being shown throughout the final look book. The collection consists of surface pattern prints that can then be applied to products across the areas listed above.

The final collection shows four graphic representation of British plants, using strong, minimal colour pallete’s to create a modern, stylish collection.

Mae’r prosiect “British Botanicals” yn seiliedig ar luniau a dynnwyd ar Lwybr Taith Taf rhwng Caerdydd ac Aberhonddu. Mae pedwar is-gasgliad i’r prosiect yma, ac mae pob un yn seiliedig ar blanhigyn penodol, sef Eirlys, Saffrwm, Cennin Pedr a Rhosyn. Mae’r casgliad yma wedi’i anelu i’w ryddhau ar gyfer tymor gwanwyn/haf 2022, gan ddefnyddio arlliwiau meddal a thawel i greu casgliad modern llwyddiannus. Mae’r lliwiau yma wedi’u seilio’n fras ar thema planhigion Prydain, ond maen nhw wedi’u haddasu i greu palet mwy masnachol.

Nod y prosiect yma yw cael ei werthu yn Urban Outfitters, gan ddefnyddio proffil cwsmeriaid tebyg i’w un nhw, sef oedolion benywaidd ifanc sy’n dilyn tueddiadau cyfredol ac sydd ag incwm gwario cymedrol.

Mae’r casgliadau sydd wedi’u dangos yn y prosiect yma wedi’u hanelu at gynnyrch ffasiwn, swyddfa a nwyddau cartref, ac mae’r cynnyrch yma i’w gweld yn y llyfr gwedd terfynol. Mae’r casgliad yn cynnwys printiau patrymau arwyneb y gellir eu cymhwyso i gynnyrch ar draws y meysydd a restrwyd uchod.

Mae’r casgliad terfynol yn dangos pedwar cynrychiolaeth graffig o blanhigion Prydain, gan ddefnyddio paletau lliw cryf a chyfyng i greu casgliad modern a steilus.
