Hollie Bradley

BA (Hons) Textiles

Hollie is a Surface Pattern Designer and Illustrator from Worcester, England. Whilst doing her degree at university, she developed a passion for drawing digitally and a love for handcraft such as Ceramics and Bookbinding. She considers herself to be a massive colour enthusiast due to her fascination with the psychology of colours and how they can be beneficial to our wellbeing. This is something she likes to consider within her designs as she is driven by the desire to spread joy and positivity to others.

‘One Day At A Time’ is a digitally illustrated collection, which is inspired by feel good self-care routines and simple life pleasures. Within her illustrations, she explores creating cosy and serene environments to demonstrate how our surroundings can aid to our mental wellbeing. Straying away from her usual abstract, geometric and quirky style, Hollie wanted to use this opportunity to really challenge and push her digital drawing skills further. She thought experimenting with illustrating people would be a good way to do this, as it also allows her audience to connect and relate to her work on a more personal level. Her collection is to be applied to both home accessories and stationery products as it fits well with the idea of investing into your home and surroundings as well as keeping organised and productive with your essential stationery products.

Mae Hollie yn Ddylunydd a Darlunydd Patrymau Arwyneb o Gaerwrangon, Lloegr. Wrth wneud ei gradd yn y brifysgol, fe ddatblygodd hi angerdd dros ddarlunio’n ddigidol a chariad at grefftau llaw megis Cerameg a Rhwymo Llyfrau. Mae hi’n ystyried ei bod yn frwd dros ben o blaid lliwiau oherwydd i seicoleg lliwiau ei chyfareddu, a sut y gallant fod yn fuddiol i’n llesiant. Dyma rywbeth y mae hi’n hoffi ei ystyried o fewn ei dyluniadau gan iddi gael ei symbylu gan y dymuniad i ledaenu llawenydd a phositifrwydd i bobl eraill.

Mae ‘One Day At A Time’ yn gasgliad a ddylunnir yn ddigidol sydd wedi’i ysbrydoli gan weithdrefnau hunanofal sy’n peri teimlo’n dda a phleserau syml bywyd. O fewn ei darluniadau mae hi’n ymchwilio i greu amgylcheddau clyd a llonydd i ddangos sut gall ein hamgylchyniadau gynorthwyo ein llesiant meddyliol. A hithau’n crwydro o’i harddull haniaethol, geometrig a hynod, roedd Hollie eisiau achub ar y cyfle hwn i roi her a gwthiad go iawn i’w sgiliau darlunio digidol. Credodd hi y byddai arbrofi gyda darlunio pobl yn ffordd dda o wneud hyn, gan ei fod yn galluogi ei chynulleidfa i gysylltu ac uniaethu â’i gwaith ar lefel fwy personol. Mae ei chasgliad i’w gymhwyso i ategolion cartref a chynnyrch papur gan ei fod yn gweddu’n dda i’r syniad o fuddsoddi yn eich cartref a’i amgylchyniadau yn ogystal â chadw’n drefnus ac yn gynhyrchiol gyda’ch nwyddau papur hanfodol.
