BA (Hons) Product Design

Kristian Lee Crocker

As a BSc student, I take great interest in engineering science and have taken part in a great project in my 2nd year of university designing and building a candy claw machine looking at mechanical engineering and programming and electronics. Also I have great interest in the aesthetics of products and how the style and shape affect the user experience and how I can look at products and adept style and shape to look even more contemporary.

I aim to design and create products which are different in aesthetics and style to products which are currently on the market to create something new that changes the user experience in light of ergonomic factors.

Gan fy mod yn fyfyriwr BSc, rwy’n ymddiddori’n fawr mewn gwyddor beirianegol ac rwyf wedi cymryd rhan mewn prosiect gwych yn fy ail flwyddyn yn y brifysgol yn dylunio ac yn adeiladu peiriant crafanc losin, gan edrych ar beirianneg fecanyddol a rhaglennu ac electroneg. Hefyd mae diddordeb mawr gen i yn estheteg cynhyrchion a sut bydd yr arddull a’r siâp yn gallu effeithio ar brofiad y defnyddiwr a sut gallaf edrych ar gynhyrchion ac addasu’r arddull a’r siâp iddyn nhw gael edrych hyd yn oed yn fwy cyfoes.

Fy nod yw dylunio a chreu cynhyrchion a fydd yn wahanol o ran eu hestheteg a’u harddull i gynhyrchion sydd ar y farchnad ar hyn o bryd er mwyn creu rhywbeth newydd a fydd yn newid profiad y defnyddiwr yng ngoleuni ffactorau ergonomig.
