Georgia Haywood

BA (Hons) Animation

My animation is inspired by nature and explores the impact that humanity can have on the wildlife. By using whimsical character designs and storytelling I can subtly shed light onto the important topic of climate change. My art style emulates a fairy tale narrative creating something that is colourful and charming. Taking Inspiration from my childhood and growing up in a little countryside village surrounded by forests, I decided to create physical sets and props to blend into the 2D environments to create a sense of depth and realism to bring my magical story about rejuvenating the Earth’s natural world to life.

Mae fy ngwaith animeiddio wedi’i ysbrydoli gan natur ac mae’n ymchwilio i’r effaith y gall dynoliaeth ei chael ar fywyd gwyllt. Drwy ddefnyddio cynlluniau cymeriadau mympwyol ac anodd stori gallaf daflu golau’n gynnil ar bwnc pwysig newid hinsawdd. Mae fy arddull celf yn efelychu naratif stori dylwyth teg gan greu rhywbeth lliwgar a swynol. Gan gymryd ysbrydoliaeth o ’mhlentyndod ac o gael fy magu mewn pentref bach gwledig wedi’i amgylchynu gan goedwigoedd, penderfynais greu setiau a phropiau go iawn mewn cyfuniad â’r amgylcheddau 2D i greu ymdeimlad o ddyfnder a realaeth i ddod â’m stori ledrithiol am adfywio byd naturiol y Ddaear yn fyw.
