Hi, I’m Louise I am an animation student who mostly focuses on character design and worldbuilding. This current project is called Sereth’s Tales which showcases those fundamental skills.
I wanted to be able to create a world based on my own art style and push the boundaries of colour and contrast. This is mostly because I designed characters with extreme colours palettes and instead of a scenery that matches all the characters, I wanted to create separate environments to help balance or emphasize the characters within them.
For this project I used Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Clip Studio Paint and TVPaint. I created this final film in my art style because it has a different take on how the world is seen compared to a referenced style. I am also a watercolour artist so when it comes to colours and mixing them, I tend to go to the extremes. I do short animations, digital art, and watercolour artworks.

Roeddwn i’n awyddus i allu creu byd yn seiliedig ar arddull fy ngwaith celf fy hun a gwthio ffiniau lliw a chyferbyniad. Mae hyn yn bennaf am fy mod i wedi cynllunio cymeriadau mewn palet lliwiau eithafol ac yn hytrach na chefndir sy’n gweddu i bob cymeriad, roeddwn i’n awyddus i greu amgylcheddau ar wahân er mwyn helpu i gydbwyso neu bwysleisio’r cymeriadau o’u mewn.
