The Room of Empowerment is an immersive experience that is a thought-provoking assortment of painted fabrics, patterned wood and other multi-mediums, that removes the need of wordly constraits and thrusts you into the land of the fairytale.

This mesmeric storybook space recognises the power of the transformative tale and the enchanting imagination of the child. A world where audiences can tap into their inner child, while also allowing the imaginative mind to help them confront the covertness and limitations of society.

Through elegant imagery, inviting colours and powerful symbolic language the project explores the emopowerment of using the childs mind to find truth within the world.

‘Truth is always hard to get to’ (Maria Tatar) but fairytales provide somewhere that makes this task feel more achievable. Mae The Room of Empowerment yn brofiad trochi sy’n ysgogi’r meddwl ac sy’n amrywiaeth o ffabrigau wedi’u peintio, pren patrymog a deunyddiau aml-gyfrwng eraill, sy’n dileu’r angen am gyfyngiadau geiriol ac yn eich gwthio i dir y stori tylwyth teg.

Mae’r gofod llyfr stori mesmeraidd hwn yn cydnabod pŵer y stori drawsnewidiol a dychymyg hudolus y plentyn. Byd lle gall cynulleidfaoedd gysylltu â’u plentyn mewnol, gan ganiatáu i’r meddwl dychmygus eu helpu i wynebu natur guddiedig a chyfyngiadau cymdeithas hefyd.

Drwy ddelweddau cain, lliwiau apelgar ac iaith symbolaidd bwerus, mae’r prosiect yn archwilio’r syniad o ddefnyddio meddwl y plentyn i ddod o hyd i wirionedd yn y byd.

‘Mae bob amser yn anodd cael at y gwir’ (Maria Tatar) ond mae straeon tylwyth teg yn cynnig rhywle sy’n gwneud i’r dasg hon deimlo’n haws ei chyflawni.
